The Educational Service Unit 9 Carl Perkins Career and Technical Education Consortium is comprised of 13 member school districts. A Consortium member is defined as any district having grades 9-12 and eligible to receive federal funding of less than $15,000 from the Nebraska Department of Education. The Consortium fund is a total of all member schools dollars. Member schools may access funds via Consortium sponsored and/or approved activities by having Career and Technical Education instructional disciplines that meet program requirements as defined by the Nebraska Department of Education.

Consortium Responsibilities:
• The consortium has the responsibility to work both with all schools in the consortium and to provide special assistance to individual schools with the largest gap in performance.
• The consortium has the responsibility to work with the school districts data personnel to make certain data is accurate and complete – this is especially true if school districts do not report or report incomplete data.
• The consortium has the right and responsibility to withhold funds from school districts that do not report data.
